I really liked SCBD's AI and this looks just as good. It'll play bases on player the player. The only thing I'm concerned about tho is if it makes some characters inhumanly overpowered. Characters like Setsuka and Kratos were almost unbearable to fight in SCBD. Sets used each just input to the point it looked insane and Kratos kept doing his air combos.
Raphaels laughter during some of the moves he does is so awesome.
Thank god this is a 3d game where you can step. I bet Kayane was ready to throw her controller after that massacre. It appears his anti step is better...but will have to see how this raph fears against side step. Good thing step G is gone.

Here are some matches of me playing Leixia against the CPU as Raphael (very difficult mode).
The Soul Calibur V AI is EXCELLENT.
In this video, you can see a bit of the potential of Raphael by watching the computer playing him. The AI is very smart and rarely does random moves, so it's fun to play with it !
I had the chance to play this demo version at Namco Bandai Italy, I thank them a lot for allowing me to play the game !
