Other things I'd recommend throw some more highs and throws out there as Cervy doesn't have too much TC in his attacks (we saw you grabbed him out of 4b be lol) 4a/6a etc as you also mentioned he stepped around your vertical spacing tools alot
Yeah cervy can also hit jump hard to with things like b2 etc, mainly it was a situation what kept happening alot and 1ab came like 90% after blocked bb. And even one jump one time I reckon would of made him go for another option. You really needed him to as it was shutting Mistu down quite hard when something safe was blocked. You did just guess wrong loads I'm very positive your a strong player and is aware of mostly all this.
Also i'm not sure how i feel about jumping in those situations. I understand the idea to get away from 1ab, but still id rather just be correct in blocking it so i get a massive punish, plus if i'm wrong and he throws out a mid then i'm in the air and have a wakeup situation. The times i tried to read the 1ab after something safe, i was just wrong each time so I think it could go a little differently next time assuming i'm right more often.
Yea Cecil i mentioned he was rolling on wakeup all the time, but didnt mention what I should have done to change it, something like 1k wouldve been better or really any move that doesnt get rolled. It was something I adapted to later by trying to mash out his wakeup attack rather than just nip the situation in the bud while he was prone. It wasnt a good idea.
Yeah i'll give feeback, you pointed out most things anyway about needing to get used to situations like 1AB on hit and to waiting to press 22B after Cervantes whiffs BT B+K to not get hit by it. and TBF you guessed wrong unfortunately lots too.
What I notciced he also did 1AB also to keep you in check alot especially after BB blocked other than that it was slower moves he was using (didnt see as much 2A as i usually do from a cervy player) I would recommend abit more jumping with 8Kafter these post blocked BB sitautions
Cerv 4B BE on grounded it wasn't a read. He was just trying to force you to block it and face a mixup. There's basically no reason not to attempt it on knockdown. Beats rolling, buttons, and gives plus frames. It even does more damage if you jump.
