    It really was painful for me to watch they both repeated moves constantly and it turned into who could grab who.
    Secondly he called me a scrub as a feeble insult when he did not use the word correctly in the literal sense or slang form.

    It doesn't matter if a move is repeated. If you try to use as many different moves as possible when you're fighting, then chances are you're going to end up losing. You'd end up using moves that will leave you open or are VERY punishable. You won't use them again afterwards, which immediately narrows your options. So you have to use whatever moves are effective against the opponent.
