    I would saaaaay...
    The lack of options, despite how varied they are, coupled with the stylized graphics force you to use your imagination more than other games.
    Very little in Minecraft is irritating. Other than the intricacies of redstone and the like, everything is approachable and nothing will put you off.
    Also, The focus on creation rather than skill is not too common, which separates it from other games.

    Games that have no definitive sense of loss tend to become addictive if they can hold you interest. Minecraft does that with your creativity, and the only reason to have to put it down is because you've run out of ideas, or a Creeper blew your house up.

    I hate it when you are sitting their and the music is playing, and it slowly starts to get louder and louder until it is completely overpowering everything and giving you a headache.
