It doesn't make sense, because what is she slashing with? Her blunt fingertips? The weapon should be the claw and the orb together, not just the orb.

Viola's style doesn't really make sense without the claw on the hand of a CAS character, since half of her moves are done with that claw...

I can suspend my disbelief for most things in this game, but for some reason I cannot get past watching Viola "block" weapon attacks with her bare palm. I mean, they couldn't have made that claw cover her whole hand and give her a little bit more armor?

I thought demon souls was a very fun game, but I'm surprised that it has such high reviews. Doesn't it surprise anyone that it wasn't torn apart for having basically NO story??
