  • what would be a good example of a high risk, medium reward situation/move in scv?

fair enough, though I think some character's auto GI's give very good reward (Pyrrha, Patroklos, Xiba)

high risk medium reward? i would say siegfrieds SRSH stance mixup is a pretty good example. insanely punishable on block, as in it gives more damage than you could get out of it if it is blocked, but the damage warrants enough reward to make you go after it. high risk medium reward.
All these people on injustice crying about zoning like it has no weakness. Yes, zoning is strong. No it is not broken.

Lol I'm new to 2d fighter too XD. MK and street fighter are different because I believe you can cancel dashes via blocking or canceling into special moves. In injustice, most dashes cannot be canceled. double forward and double backwards dashes can't be canceled and you have to wait for the full animation to end to do anything.

Some characters have special command dashes and air dashes that can be canceled though. I believe harley has a command dash (I'm not sure though). I also believe that superman has an air dash that he can cancel into heat vision. Don't quote me on that though lol.

mm ok. I'll find someway to accept zoning better
I feel like my experience with Soul Calibur has really improved my understanding of fighting games in general. :D
