.....no way! i just got it this morning but haven't played online yet. so is player match just 1v1 then?

Yeah, there's no lobbys. Idk why the hell they did that, its just 1v1s and after your match is done, you get sent back to the main menu. So you gotta keep inviting your friend back. Annoying really.
