I'm Obaid (pronounced OH-Bayd), but my gaming name is Thr33X or TheMighty3X (my PSN name BTW). You can call me either one. Just got SC5 after skipping over SC4 when I heard it wasn't as good as previous games. I have been a SC player since Soul Blade/Edge, so while I'm new to this forum I consider myself a veteran.
I've heard of 8WR for a while, but now finally figured I'd join to learn some new skills with the many new characters this game brings along. I'm not completely competitive, but I will have some casual matches here and there. I don't desire to be "tournament ready", but I would like to get good enough to hit Ranked Match harder.
I'm more into the creative end of things. I've loved the character creation suite ever since it was introduced, and have used it extensively in other games as well, so making new, original characters is a specialty of mine...or recreating older ones or from other games as well. So far I've made a decent version of Taki, my own rendition of Rock's son Bangoo, and Tyris Flare of Sega's Golden Axe series, among many original characters of my own, and I will be more than willing to show them off and share formulas on how to recreate them for your own game.
That's my purpose in a nutshell, and of course to have a little fun on these boards, as I plan on keeping SC5 for the long haul. Holla at me, cats & kitties!
