Some useful threads/videos that will help you get into Soulcalibur are:

• Partisan's Notation Video Guide - This is a very useful video about the terminology and notation that we use for Soulcalibur and is great for beginners to watch.
• The Soul Arenas - These forums are where you can find lots of information on each different character. Decide what character you'd like to learn and then make sure you visit their Soul Arena; there is a wealth of information for you to uncover.
• Mikosu's Soulcalibur V Gameplay Info Thread - This will explain basic mechanics of the game.
• DrakeAldan's "The Basics of Soulcalibur" Series - These posts DrakeAldan has created will help you get on track with Soulcalibur and how it works.
