Alright so I start my 360 up to play Soul Cal like 4 or 5 days ago.

A message pops up telling me there's an update for Soul Calibur 4 and I have to download it or I'll be signed out of XGay Live.

I accept, wait a moment and my Xgay restarts and says I need to insert a Xgay disc.

WTF?!

Now I have to go buy a new copy of SC4 because the update screwed up game.

Has this happened to anyone else who downlaoded the patch(360 or PSawesome?)?

Go to the Xbox Dashboard, select the System Blade, and select Memory.
Highlight the HD symbol and press Y.
Press X, X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X, X.

This will clear your system cache. You'll have to download the update again.

FYI: It's impossible for an update to ruin your game. The disc is not writable in any way, nor is the Xbox capable of writing to it.

I played the night b4 and it was fine.

IDK, maybe I moved something while the disc was spinning in the XboX.

If the procedure I posted doesn't work, you should clear it again, and play offline. See if that works. If it does, then there's nothing wrong with the disc.

Well, that wasn't it.

It still brings me to a white screen that says insert an Xbox 360 disc.

IT IS AN XBOX 360 DISC GOD DAMMIT!
