I need help understanding what people post under character forums

I know these are moves but what do the numbers mean? Like 6 I know A+B=x+y BE=Brave edge

The numerical notations you see refer to a direction. If you look at the keypad on your computer keyboard, That will indicate what direction is being portrayed.

For example maxis 6A+B BE means (forward X+Y A+B+K) as you can see its much easier to use the numerical notations rather than write all that stuff out all the time.

Always just remember that numerical notations are written from the first player side.
