>Finally breaks the confusing naming streak of the last 3 consoles they've put out, distinguishes itself enough that even clueless parents will be able to actually buy the danmed thing
>Actual 3rd party support for at least the normalfags (Skyrim, muh sportz, muh e-sports)
>Confirmed games under development by ArcSys, Capcom, and Namco (!)
>A gimmick that's not only interesting past the first 5 minutes, but actually useful
>Mario, Zelda, and possibly Mario Kart all on release day
>NO MORE OPTICAL MEDIA, BACK TO CARTRIDGES
I expected shit (like everything Nintendo has been putting out recently) but this is pleasantly surprising. It looks like the switch is what the WiiU should have been all along. If the specs are decent and third party support doesn't dry up right after release like it did for the Wii U, it looks like Nintendo may actually have a winner here.
Also, I'm glad the hybrid rumors were true. At this point there's no longer an appreciable difference between handheld and home console specs (in a game console's price range anyways), so having two separate platforms would mean competing with themselves for no good reason. The Wii U died (mostly) because Nintendo kept most of the good shit on the 3DS. Now every new Nintendo game will be on a single system.
