Pokkén Tournament

Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara as well as Harada and Hoshino attended an event announcing this game. Not much news yet other than this, but it's piqued my interest if nothing else. Looks like Tekken with Pokémon, as the name would suggest. Maybe the Wii U is finally getting its own fighting game.

Sadly, as far as my knowledge goes, this a Japan-only arcade release. Maybe if this released on Wii U, this would be a killer app.

It's Pokémon, and Tekken. That popular a combination in Japan is getting a home console release, it's just a matter of when.

It will debut in the Japanese arcades to test it out.

Harada also mention no Tekken characters and no High/Low mixups. Maybe it's a totally innovative fighter like Smash or maybe it's supposed to be for little Pokemon fans.

I'm sure Harada will keep tournament gameplay in mind.
