i wanted to update my PS 3 to the newest firmware yesterday in order to play online (shame on me)
it downloaded well but during the installation it gave me the error
"8002F14E"(Installation failed, please try again/please contact technical service)
and i couldn't do anything but hold the power button in front to turn it off.
I'm stuck in a loop since:
When i turn it on it immediately enters the installation mode and gives me the error again after 3% again forcing me to turn it off.
repeat...
I tried to enter the special restore mode (from off mode holding the power button for double or triple beeps, i only get the double beeps but that only puts back me into the same loop)
I looked it up on google but didn't find any tips except ones that include opening my ps which i don't want.
And send it to sony/get a new one.
Can anyone help me with this please?
