I bought two of these cameras for broadcasting during streams, as I wanted to upgrade from the SD Playstation 3 Eye cameras to something more HD. However, I ran into one small problem with these cameras, they have a tight focus. As they are designed as web cameras, not commentator cameras, they are focused very tight; as on a web camera you really only want one person on the screen.
During my streams, I usually have two people on camera, so I end up having to put the cameras pretty far away in order to fit both people on the camera. So because of this I am replacing the camera with Microsoft LifeCam Pros.
Personally, I think the image quality on these Logitech cameras blow the Microsoft LifeCam (which is $100) away... but as I said, tight focus. I'm interested in selling these c510 for $30 a piece. Message me if you are interested.
