New guy here. Came across "8wayrun" on a gamefaqs thread lol. Came in hoping to find some friendly fellow players for some casual matches online in SCV (Once I get my copy in a few days.) Having played every game that bears the name "Soul Calibur" aside from Broken Destiny, I'm pretty familiar with the series and what it offers. Though my time with it has been spent largely in offline, single player. Rare are the occasions that I go online (due to the atmosphere SCIV online provided.)
But I figured I could only go so far fighting against the AI so I wanted to start over in SCV. Skill-wise I don't consider myself to be a slouch by any means, but I don't think I've made it past the above-average point yet, so here I am hoping to find some people to have some good matches with.
For the game itself, I don't main. I don't main in any game I play and I don't like the idea of maining at all. I'd much rather be good with most if not all characters than to excel with 1 or 2, but that's just me. Though if I had to choose maybe 5 characters that were my best, I'd have to go with Cervantes, Setsuka, Raphael, Zasalamel and Maxi. I seem to play these 5 the most (while fully aware some of them are gone from SCV).
Anyway, I hope this place can help me broaden my horizons XD I'll be looking forward to some good battles.
