    actually as of this year I believe most college students will have some sort of debt (of course if your family is well off then socioeconomic factors kick in) Although mathematics is a flexible degree in terms of career choice, it isn't a field I would enjoy learning personally. I would find it boring in a few years. Which may/may not seem ironic to you.
