    Was the fight resolved? Nope. Did anyone advance the story? No. Therefore nothing happened.

    A fight doesn't get resolved in 1 chapter, definitely not in the same chapter that a Bankai is revealed.
    The next chapter might be the end of the fight, so yeah. We're moving on w/the story.
