If you want casual scrubs which talk about costumes and story go for MKO, TMK, Kamidogu, TRMK. If you want depth/combos go for Testyourmight or MKunited.

Because a fighter can't be fun if it ain't ultra competitive. That is all relative to me, to be honest, and from the looks of things I doubt this one will follow the lame 3D Mk's. For once I have faith this franchise will deliver a decent fighting engine. Also, this cracked me up a bit:

Like I said, all the jab exploits like the ones in the movie are removed from the final game or improved in such a way that you can't infinite. The demo is an old build of the game, so it's pretty absurd to judge the game based on it. Also, the game has the online patching system so any fail...

1. CHECK is a pro MK player and NRS hired him to balance the game. The demo is a really old build and they've improved on literally everything especially since they got a lot of tournament players to even the gameplay. 2. It's sad that most people here can't make a difference between SF/BB/GG...

As a MK fan, I'm liking this. Finally they stopped making shit games and started listening to fans and considering this demo is a fairly old build, I can't wait to play the full version. Thing is, it's a different beast compared to MvC or SSF4 so it takes some time getting used to the system...

Seems Dizzynecro is one of those frustrated fighting purists which can't enjoy a game/fighter for what it is. Sure the older MK's were slow and clunky compared to SSF2 or KoF, and the 3D ones were atrocious in comparison with Tekken or SC but they are still fun to play. Now I'm hyped about MK9...

So basically Namco has such a joke of a PR that they ask fans on forums if the game will sell well enough so they could start working on it.
