Mortal Kombat (2011)

I have a huge amount of respect on the people eating their own words around here. Every time I play more the game seems better and better. So far I'm loving Kitana, Smoke, Scorpion and Nightwolf.
 
I got to admit that when I played the demo, I wasn't feeling it that much, however man this may be one of the most well rounded 2D fighters on the market. I'm" willing to bet that this game will make other fighters step up, both in mechanics and presentation. This game feels like MKII all over again but with a fresh twist. Until we get Rain I'm" enjoying Kung Lao, Johnny Cage and Kabal. My friend absolutely RAPED with Balrog, who would have thought he was such a good character.
 
Kitana is deadly really liking her a lot along with millena. Sound effects on this game is the best thus far for fighters.
 
Seriously amazing how when MK9 and MvC3 were announced our opinions to be formed would be so different than the expectations we had. MK9 awesome? lol...and here we see the long awaited MvC3 get it's ass handed to it be one of the most casual series of all time. I'm addicted to story mode...in a fighter...the fuck did that happen!??!?!?
 
i expected mk to be awesome right up until i played the demo. like i said, i think releasing that demo was a huge mistake by WB. i'm glad i'm a stubborn SOB who buys all new fighters for the fuck of it even when i don't like them, or i'd have never realized how misleadingly bad that demo was.
