Basic Q&A Thread

What're the recommended sizes for banners? I want something big, but not too invasive. Not certain on the rules regarding the allowed height, so figured I'd ask here for general consensus.
 
If it's too tall, it scrolls within your sig and without stretching anything. The rest is common sense, I'd hope...

I ought have mentioned it's not designed for a sig. My bad. But yeah it seems obvious, I just wasn't sure if there was a max limit, though I doubt I'd hit it anyway.
 
Is it just me or if you play too much you cant do CE quickly anymore? :'( I've played like couple hours a day for a week... Im C3.
