You may wanna switch out the mobo for a Z68 (or a newer version of that if there is one at the time of buying) instead. z68 is compatible with both quick sync and easy OC-ing, and have smart response for SSD+HDD combo. They also seemed to have fixed any other glitches the previous i7 generation mobos had, like some sata ports not working properly.
 
I think it's worth pointing out that both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 can output analog audio while outputting the video over HDMI.

Xbox 360 actually simultaneously outputs audio through both. If you're currently running HDMI, and plug in an analog cable into the analog output on the 360, it will instantly start outputting audio through both HDMI and analog. You will, however, need an analog cable that fits in the port while an HDMI cable is plugged in.

The Playstation 3 requires you to set up the audio manually, but it's very simple to do in the settings. You choose to output video through HDMI, then audio through analog. However, chances are you're streaming component-out from PS3 anyways.
