Dark Souls

nearing it's release date... i'm on the edge of jumping aboard the hype train.

so the question is will I be able to enjoy this game if I never played the first one?
 
PANDA: If it's the story that you're worried about, I think they are unrelated since Dark Souls is a spiritual successor to Demon's Souls.

I'm so looking forward to this game that I'm replaying Demon's Souls from scratch.
 
I want this game, I don't have enough money for all the games that I want...

Did you guys hear about the whole being punished for getting an early copy of the game? From what I read From Software released fully maxed out black phantoms in the early dungeons of the game. They said there is no way anyone can beat the phantoms lol.
