Dark Souls

^ This. I killed Capra no problem the second time I got to fight him. The other times involved me rolling into dogs and eating his two-handed swing, or dogs biting me right as he came at me with an overhead chop. I got him, though, he isn't difficult.

Asshole took like 7 tries for me the first time because the dogs would just happen to block the fucking stairs every time.

Oh, and a heads up for anyone who has not fought Ceaseless Discharge yet, there is a easy tactic floating around the webz that involves getting its attention and running straight back to the fog door entrance....

Do not bother with this. I tried it numerous times and it did not work. I dont know if they patched it, or i just wasnt doing it right but it is supposed to follow you until it falls down a bottomless pit. Instead, what i get is him hitting me from distance with a fire wave over and over until i'm dead with no way to escape it.

The real and only way to beat him is run directly by him (he wont attack yet), and go pick up the gold hemmed set on a dead body. As soon as you do that, he attacks but as long as you make a break for that small path between the rocks you should be fine. From then on, the whole fight will consist of staying in that furthest, back corner of the path and hitting his hand each time he attacks. Dont ask me why taking the clothes must be done instead of attacking but somehow, there is a difference in his behavior and attack patterns. If you just hit him to get his attention, his attacks wont really be punishable.

Video reference so everyone knows what i'm talking about. (I know it sounds complicated.)

It worked when I did it, but that was a while ago. What is supposed to happen is he climbs over toward you and you attack a specific arm causing him to lose his grip and fall. It clearly wasn't even a glitch or exploit since it caused a scripted animation of him losing grip and falling.

Yeah, the videos i saw show him taking a swing at you and leaving his hand there for a bit but he never even got that close when i fought him. He just stopped moving forward from a certain distance and spammed a fire wave that stretches from half way down the entire path.
