I beat the game two days ago. It's the game of my friend, so I decided to buy the Limited Edition now and play it again. :)
What a great game.
Definitely my game of the year!

Pyro and Drake sword, some of the cheapest things in Dark Souls.

Pyromancy is powerful yes, but there are some bosses who are immun to fire damage. So it's not really cheap.
And the Drake sword is pretty much useless later in the game, because it doesn't scale with your attributes. It's only really strong in the first half of the game.

Yeah... pretty much the entire last quarter of the game is immune to fire. And Drake Sword is ass.

Finished the game some time ago. And the biggest BS I have to complain about is online PvP. Man nothing is more thrilling than PvP, it feelings just as intense as playing an actual FG tournament. However, omg how fucking broke they made back stabs. The game is already bad enough because of lag, but it's like online your back has a huge freaking target to get back stabbed and killed in one shot.

I felt like a dumbass. Here I am attempting to have some kind of sword fight with this fools, no one is fucking interested, as soon as you attack they pull out there cute little knife and go for the one shot back stab. That killed the whole evasion thing for me.

So.... shot in the dark that anyone on this board pays enough attention to this game to know the answer but here it goes.

+15 Great scythe or +5 Lifehunt?

I'm aware that Lifehunt builds bleed on the user. I'm ok with working around that if its worth it but i also know Great Scythe dex scaling upgrades to A. i believe somewhere close to the end and i do plan on putting at LEAST 40 on dex for this character. So far, i am really liking the Great Scythe. To begin with, i guess i should ask if there are any differences in range or the movesets in general instead of assuming they are the same.

A lot of good stuff regarding pvp mechanics such as escaping chain bs etc. Pvp is deeper than most people think.

Overall dks is decent but nowhere near as good as DS was. I found DKS getting boring after about 2 months whereas I still hoped on DS 2 years later for a duel or two.
