Dark Souls

So.... shot in the dark that anyone on this board pays enough attention to this game to know the answer but here it goes.

+15 Great scythe or +5 Lifehunt?

I'm aware that Lifehunt builds bleed on the user. I'm ok with working around that if its worth it but i also know Great Scythe dex scaling upgrades to A. i believe somewhere close to the end and i do plan on putting at LEAST 40 on dex for this character. So far, i am really liking the Great Scythe. To begin with, i guess i should ask if there are any differences in range or the movesets in general instead of assuming they are the same.

Oh and great scythe > lifehunt any day of the week for both pvp and pve. Great scythe has more reach (which is very important when it comes to the running r1 attack - which is the best running attack in the game, and can be enchanted to do over 900 a hit in pvp. Bleed barely means anything in pvp, you can completely avoid it by rolling at the same time it proc's. Not to mention i'm pretty sure the bleed buildup is just the same - lifehunt just does 50% as opposed to 30%. Kitana's are probably the best weapons any if you want to score bleed.

this game annoyed me demon's souls was challenging and rewarding darksouls is not rewarding at all the weapon stat scaling sucks. i didn't get any souls for beating the minutar or the capra demon which pissed me off every time i beat a boss what little satisfaction i got from killing them dissapated when i beat them just to die from the most miniscul monsters. and the sewers blew curse pissed me of that just pushes in to cheap as it insta kills you and adds insult to injury as it takes half your health out which can apply twice. and please sombody tell me why in the hell it cost 6000 souls just to buy a cure for it???? the bell tower demon didn't even give me that much. demon's souls = rewarding yet challnging experience while. dark souls= is annoying/ unrewarding.

Hope they put in more effort into improving the pvp in the next game. Netcode has always been ass ever since Demon's Souls, but what annoys me more is the fact you can obtain OP gear so early into the game as long as you know what to do. My first playthrough was littered with instances where I get invaded and 1 shotted by some random guy with a maxed out lightning weapon, despite the fact their SL shouldn't be over 20. And a shame my favorite 2-handed swordie STR build sucks this time around thanks to ineffective stat scaling on those swords; I'm just not an axe person.
