Dark Souls

hey just a quick question, im in my first new game plus and im in the demon ruins, and Ive just killed the demon fire sage. Im trying to save solaire from the sunlight maggots and to do that i heard you have to open the short cut door between demon ruins and the lost izalith. does the door become openable after you beat the centipede demon? or do you really have to be a lvl 2 chaos servant to open it?

you make it sound like being a chaos servant is bad....even though the only benefit is the shortcut. which in my book, is a HUGE benefit. i for one, despise lost izalith. one of the few areas i tend to avoid at all costs due to lag (or framerate issues, or whatever it is), darkwraiths/SoV, and the lava. the other area being blightown.

on the shortcut you find a respawning titanite demon! (let's you farm demon titanite from them in case you didn't catch the amazingness that the little tidbit was) demon is by far the hardest and usually most needed titanite because of all those pesky demon/boss weapons
 
so now that DS:PtDE is out on steam, how long will the console dlc take to arrive? i heard that it was for certain coming to consoles, but i never ever heard a date.

anywho, artorias looks like the shit! can't wait to see if his armor is obtainable or not.
