Dark Souls

So I checked out the boss fight for Artorias and he looks fairly simple. In fact, most of his moves are just an exaggerated version of the move set of his sword used by players.

I did notice he throws this kind of sludge type thing and I have no clue what it does so it might be wise to be aware of when he tries to throw it. Other than that, not too too bad.
 
Demons Souls dark world tendency! That shit was stupid as shit sometimes, the poison swamp with those 3 black phantom goblins was stupid as hell. YOU COULD NOT ROLL IN THE SWAMP. Also fuck maneater that boss was the hardest shit ever. Didn't matter how smart you played that boss fight was always going to be a pain in the ass.

I think everyone talking about how demon souls was that much better should try taking off their rose colored nostalgia glasses. There were plenty of God awful parts in demons souls that were cheap and unfair and just set up to punish you the first time you saw them or for bad luck. Having played that game a lot more recently than most people here ( about three months before dark came out) I can honestly say: THIS.
 
Another dead thread revived by me! A patch recently came out for the console version of the game and I want to know what you guys think of it.

The one thing that I find a bit bothersome is that everything takes up a shit ton of stamina now and using my black knight sword is riskier now that the swings are slower.

PVE Changes

  • Increased enemy HP
  • New Crystal Golem In Dukes Archives Drops Only Blue Titanite Chunk
  • Corpse located by well in Firelink Shrine now carries 3 Humanity
Specific Gear Changes

  • Dark Wood Grain Ring effect nerfed; now activates at 25% equip load and below rather than 50%
  • Hornet Ring critical increase nerfed from 50% to 30%
  • Mask of the Father effect nerfed to 5%
  • Mask of the Mother effect nerfed to 10%
  • Mask of the Child effect nerfed to ~33.3%
  • Rapier and Spear weapon turtling takes more stamina
  • Two-handed Greatsword R1 swing speed is slower. One-handed swing speed remains unchanged
  • Ultra-Greatsword swing speed slightly lowered to prevent stunlocking
  • Homing Crystal Soulmass and Homing Soulmass nerfed.
  • Non-scaling upgrade paths Chaos, Lightning and Fire nerfed by ~10%
  • PC and Xbox can now port-forward to reduce online lag.
  • Elite Knight set fixed; its poise is now 46 in the NA versions
  • Eagle Shield physical damage reduction is now 95%
  • All roll speeds (except for Ninja Flip) buffed. They are now faster and possibly have greater invulnerability frames.

Wait a patch came out?! Was it when the dlc came out? I haven't bought it yet or played Dark Souls since January.

Elemental weapons got nerfed again lol.
