Okay, cool. One more thing. Do you think I could tackle the Artorias of the Abyss content now? Or should I wait? Wondering if I could tackle it now and get Artorias armor/weapons now and tackle Anor Londo afterwards.
You have to get through Anor Londo before you can enter Artorias of the Abyss content. You have to get the broken pendant from a golem in the Duke's Archives, which isn't accessible until you've placed the Lord Vessel which you get after beating the boss of Anor Londo.
As for the Great Magic Weapon and things of that sort that I've been recommending. GMW is a spell you find very early upon entering Anor Londo. The part where you're walking over the beams in the church or whatever that building is, you can cut down the chandelier which is what's holding the spell. when you enter the floor level of the building you'll find it laying there in the middle of the room. If you go this route and decide to use magic and especially the weapon buff magic, you'll only really want to use GMW until you can get your hands on Crystal Magic Weapon. CMW is one of the best weapon buffs in the game, only beat out by faith build's Darkmoon Blade(some argue that Sunlight Blade is also better, but using the right catalyst CMW can add slightly bigger buffs) but the difference is pretty minimal.
Using a hybrid build with Str or Dex mixed with Int is, in my opinion, the easiest way through the game. You get a decent weapon buff in GMW fairly early(like I said, upon entering Anor Londo) and having weapon a that pulls purely from Str or purely from Dex with a good bonus(A or S) reinforced well gives you plenty damage to take down bosses fairly quickly. Even more so if you've manged to get into Duke's Archives and bought CMW from Logan. Not to mention Homing Soul Mass, and later Crystal Homing Soul Mass, usually dealing large chunks of damage to who ever it locks on to. Also with the expansion, you now have access to a few new spells that are just excessively powerful. Pursuers, Dark Bead, and I think there's one more. They're very, very strong.
I do highly recommend Pyromancy as well, like Juece. It's ridiculously powerful for what you have to invest into it.
