Finished off Nito (a combined total of 280,000 souls lost) and took down the Bed of Chaos (not quite 100,000 souls lost). Then headed off to kill Gywn and finished the game. Hurrah!

Congrats. Gwyn isn't that hard to beat but he is pretty aggressive so be prepared. After you beat the game you should try to play the game again with a particular build in mind.

dragonbro fisticuffs!!! finally PvP'd enough to get my dragon torso stone....it's sooo cool! i didn't expect it to raise your barehanded power, although it doesn't say it in the stat screen

So I'm going to turn my Archer build into a PvP character. Any thoughts on helping me prepare an archer for PvP?
