Demons souls

This game is wicked fun I only my long sword and it's all I really need at the moment. I fought my first boss and it was pretty hard at first because i wasn't really sure how to fight it but once I figured it out it was easy sailing sorta. Also people are A-holes with the messages they leave I got killed by bastards saying it was safe when there was an ambush. Fun game though
 
Enkindu, its not random... if you hold forward while your attack, you do a heaver "guard break" attack. Lots of mobs use this attack, such as the skeletons in Shrine of Storms. Myself, I am having trouble beating Leechmonger, the boss of 5-1, as he regenerates health way too quickly. Everyone here is laughing at me because I have low vitality, but they don't understand that you really don't need health in this game. As long as you can block everything, and roll everything you can't, you pretty much can't die unless you get jumped from behind and backstabbed. Of course, little did I know, Leechmonger covers you in leeches, which encumbers you and you can't dodge roll for the entire battle. So thats why I cant beat him.
 
Jaxel, this happens on one of their normal attacks against me. Also, I am able to have stamina left over when they do use that lunging attack. It's been completely random when it happens.

I killed the leechmonger with the White Bow and a ton of arrows. I did it on the first try. I'm not sure what my stats were at the time, but I spent some time farming souls from the Grim Reaper to boost my stats.

Also, you haven't fought one of the rogue asassains yet. they have this roundhouse kick that you can't block, and it kills me in one hit. stage 4 of the palace. it is crazy. They say you need to be at a soul level of 400 before you should fight the last boss. I tried it while I was at 76, and i think I could do it at level 100 lol. It would take forever though, and some luck.

Priests are really tricky to use. I think that is why I get hit like a bitch no matter if I am wearing heavy armor. Also, their forward+R1 is a push, and not a stab. It just opens up their defenses. I like it. I've pushed quite a few baddies off of cliffs.
 
Ah, ok. I use the blessed mace, so I guess you were refering to the R2 attack. My priest is getting pretty badass. I have a banish spell that sends invading black phantom's back to their world. lol it's too much fun being a priest.

I decided to ditch the heavy armor and go with the Saint's clothing, and circlet helmet. it looks like a halo. It's so fricken sweet! I kinda want to use a giant weapon that knocks people down, so it'd give me enough time to cast my big spell. otherwise I'll have to run around alot until I can get far enough away and around a corner. God's Wrath is an AOE that casts THROUGH walls.

I've just two more stages to complete and I've beaten the game for the first time. I kinda need to as well. I accidentally casted God's Wrath on Stockpile and the Blacksmith in the Nexus, and they want to beat me up. It's a good thing I have all the gear I need on me, and I'm so close to beating the game or else I'd be SOL. For future reference, if this happens to you, turn off your PS3 right away as anything you do will trigger the auto-save and you'll be stuck with them hating you, or dead until you beat the game.
