DmC Version 2

All I can say after seeing DmC all the way through is that the story was not really to special in this one either. Reminded me of two with the whole go kill a demonic business man. Although as I stated earlier there were a few really good parts.
 
DMC: Kill zombie brother, kill demon lord in kinda-revenge, save mom-clone. Kinda serious.
DMC2: Protect the girl, topple evil organization. Serious.
DMC3: Run up a tower, get ass kicked, run down a tower, stalemate, run up a tower again, kill the worst father ever, kick brother's ass. Not very serious until MISSION 20.
DMC4: Dante: Keep an eye on the nephew, and bail him out so he can save the world. Not really serious.
Nero: Kill Dante-wait, talk to leader about experiments-wait, save girlfriend, save the world. Not very serious leading to serious.

DmC: Remember your past, topple evil organization, get revenge for your dead mom. Not really serious until Mundus.
Oh, right, kick brother's ass. Pretty damn serious.

Having watched playthroughs of 1+2, played 3+4, and spoilered myself on DmC, I can say that you'll find deeper and more thought-provoking writing in Guilty Gear. At least the writing in DmC isn't on 2's level, and the sequences are better paced than 4's. I am getting this game.

EDIT: I forgot. Vergil isn't quite as flat a character in DmC.
 
So i just beat DMC. It was fun. Definitely fun. The Mundus fight was lame though but the Vergil fight made up for it... I GUESS. Bob Barbus was a fun fight though. The trippy ass levels with him and Lilith were NUTS. Even funnier was finding the Doors in her level and seeing the standard level design in that crazy world.
And they're gonna make another game obviously, or at least planned too.

Now i'm gonna go through it on other difficulties and make sure to get all the keys and find all the doors.

EDIT:
Also for the first time, i'm interested in seeing what is going to happen with the world.
With the world being stuck in constant Limbo, and Dante not being Goku so he can't be anywhere fast, how many will be dead by the sequel lol. Also now they'll be able to see what their drink was made out of......
