FFVIII was my favorite in the series too...

The problem was that too many people missed the whole point of the game. It was an OPERA.

Seemed more like eye candy than opera to me... the story and game play were just lacking in my opinion-too much time spent on uber ps2 grafix.

FFVIII was PSX.

Though not a fan of the story too much, and I could get into the gameplay, there is a Final Fantasy Thread now.
