Hunter Strats
-crank up your controller sensitivity to at least 75/75 or Higher on 360 so you have more control over your hunter while in midair(PC player get a huge + here, as the mouse allows them to semi-glide in the air and land on survivors)
- Be sure to pounce from high places whenever possible as the higher you are when you land on them, the more damage you get from the pounce, max is 25dmg.
- If your hunter catches fire, pounce on someone ASAP. The fire adds additional damage.
-If you are up against a group that has people in the red, and they still have their teammates alive. Try to run up behind them during a distraction and melee them and run away. The hunter has best melee(well, outside the tank)
Smoker Strats
-Learn where you can get death pulls. A death pull is when you drag them off cliffs or off/ out of bulding about the same height with a large gap between you and the victim.
-Annoy them from a safe spot. Constantly grab them and force somebody to go back for them. Do this when waiting for your teammates to respawn.
-Team up with other infected. Smoker + Boomer is a very deadly pair as can be a Smoker + Hunter.
-Stand in front/ on top of cars with alarms or behind a witch. Using your tongue you forcefully drag someone to their demise but if the others shoot you/at you then they are bound to cause all hell to break lose.
Tank Tips
-When the message for a Tank spawn pops up look around for it. Cause the tank will already be on the map before your/one of your teammates are given control.
-If you are in ghost mode(choosing where to spawn) and it says you'll be the tank...SPAWN ANYWHERE QUICK! This spawn will become AI controlled, the point is its another something the survivors have to deal with.
-Just cause your the tank, doesn't mean you are an insta win(in most cases). You still need teammates to be successful, however your presence does cause alot of constant watch and panic.
-The Tanks rock throw is glitchy, use it to your advantage. (Example, if you put a tank as close as possible into a wall where survivors are on the other side, on some walls you can somewhat safely throw rocks at them THROUGH the wall)
-Punchable objects = instant incaps(you can wipe an entire team out this way)
-When the tank FIRST comes into the field he is AI controlled, during that time if he spawns in front of survivors. There is a high chance he may be lit on fire, during this time you basically have less than 30 seconds to do something. Be smart about it.
- NEVER...NEVER! RUSH HEAD ON TO 3-4 HEALTHY SURVIVORS! Unless you have something to punch at them. Alternatively, snipe with rocks from a roof as long as you hit them with the rock the frustration meter resets. Remember gravity applies.
