Only time will tell. I hope you are right and I am being paranoid.

I am comparing the way Obama played the people like the way these other leaders played their people. The consequences hopefully will be entirely different, but you cannot look at these basic facts and deny them.

You can say the same of Churchill, Reagan, Clinton, Bush, or any other charismatic leader. I don't find your armchair pop psychology source to be all that convincing either.

The basic facts don't support your conclusions.

For example, people knew Stalin was nuts. The last thing Lenin said was, "Don't let him (Stalin) near power." Stalin quietly quashed that, and seized power anyway. Hitler had clear aims. The stuff they did later was strongly foreshadowed, because they were already nuts.

What has Obama put out there that establishes his agenda as pure evil? Going to church? He's certainly not proposing anything close to what your country has done in terms of socialism etc.

Honestly, I don't see the country suffering with a capable, charismatic, intelligent leader at the helm for the first time in eight years. That's the kind of person you want in charge IMO. At worst, it'll be more of the same.

At least he sounds like he is willing to wait and see. I think he made some decent observations, but are not completely indicative - and he admitted to that.

You guys should get off of Obama's nuts already until he actually does something good.

Oh and hush with that Fox News nonsense. Everyone loves to accuse them of having a conservative bias. Which they definately do lol...not gonna argue against that. But everyone loves to forget that MSNBC is clearly their liberal counterpart.


At the end of the day I can't say I'm terribly optimistic for the country's futurebut I hope I'm wrong. I can't stand the conservatives who are hoping he "messes up" America during the next 4 years.

But see it like this, the whole world is reliefed that the Bush Era is going to end soon, im not saying McCain would have been bad ( I think he is pretty nice for a republican), but i'll take Obama rather than him :)

And the Obama is a Socialist Stuff is just American-Media-Made Election propaganda ,nobody here in Europe would ever take this into his argumentation. No Media, no TV, even the conservatives, when they reported about it, it was always a "McCain is trying to stoke fears with socialism" Report, nobody here ever took any of this stuff serious.

Everybody here is more than happy with Obama, especially the government ;)

No one watches MSNBC. Their influence is quite minor.

Fox News is still the highest rated news network.
