so i turned on my ps3 tonight..and all of a sudden it wouldn't start :l and the yellow light appeared.....i was wondering if anyone knew something i should try before sending it off to Sony to get it fixed since google didn't really give me anything D:

Tried a hard reset (Aka hold down button until you hear a beep)? If not, may be time to ship it to Sony.
