Its not Dreamworks that is shutting down. The studio that is shutting down is PDI which is owned by Dreamworks.
 
Yes. PDI also known as Pacific Data images but also the company known to bring you Madagascar, Shrek, and Mr. Peabody.
They were bought out by Dreamworks a long time ago but sadly closed its doors. The options for animation jobs in the US
is shrinking more and more.
