In other news, my shin splints have progressively gotten worse to the point that it hurts to walk.
May need leg braces or crutches. bummer.

Since shine splints are tears in the muscle eventually the muscle rips off the bone and then the bone begins to take the impact of your running and you may get a hairline fracture. You should really take care of that because leaving it alone only makes it worse. I would know, considering I had them and it forced me to stop running and become a lazy bastard.

Take a read Panda, don't do what I did and try to tough it out. It only makes it worse and now every time I try doing any high impact workout the pain comes back fairly quickly.
