well... i want to share my dream see what people think... I've had this dream twice in the span of several months...
I'm sitting in a kitchen over looking my aunt's back yard. I'm somewhere in Long Island but my aunt's house has long since been abandoned. as I stare out into the overgrown yard I feel compelled to walk out and head towards the swimming pool. The pool itself is a veritable jungle with huge flat red plants growing from the ground. and jungle trees grown all around this pool. as I enter through the rusted gate that surrounds my aunts swimming pool it creaks loudly and sends shivers down my spine.
I look down on my arm and notice that there are baby spiders crawling on me, I quickly brush them off and proceed into the pool. Upon closer examination of the flat red plants they're actually huge flat red spiders with shark mouths... and they're simply standing straight up as if in a hand stand.
i know they know i'm there because they begin to salivate. I press forward towards the swimming pool. as i get closer, paranoia takes its hold over me and i begin to lose it. i panic and need to leave this place and i turn to go but the gate is closed.... it's guardian his an austrailian funnel web spider..
it comes at me, fangs reared back and i back pedal... i think i'm going to fall into the pool and i slip and fall just as the thing lands on my leg. but instead of the pool, i land on one of the flat red spiders that grab me and wrap their legs around me... I'm going to be devoured is my last thought as i wake up.

Sorry I didn't quote your whole thing, it sounds like you want to be back here in the states. Something familiar to you... you must have vivid memories of your aunts place. Perhaps with you being away, you feel as if everyone has 'moved on' hence the house being long abandoned. I think the whole act of walking into the jungle is like leaving for Korea, and you have probably had real life feelings of paranoia and fear living in such a foreign place. As for the gate closing behind you and locking, it may feel as if you are trapped there, waiting for a paycheck... working your fingers to the bone while the 'spiders' (ie. bosses, your own expectations, your quest for success, etc) are in control of your every move. As you struggle to succeed and 'find your way back' you are overcome with fear of the unknown and wake.
Could be way off, but that's why dream interpretation is fun!

You are experiencing anxiety about developments at home. Whether you miss people, you wonder what's being said about you, you think somebody's gonna die, or maybe you're feeling a disconnect from your gente I dunno. But you're thinking about something at home. Just my guess.
I did not dream last night. I had to take my dad to dialysis at 3 am. Take him home at 8 am. I can't have my mom driving him in the dark and the rain, she's blind as a bat and I'd feel bad if something happened. But Jesus Christ my head is killing me.
