Scrolling makes my music stutter

TRUST US GOY, IT JUST WERKS™ EHEHEHEH

OP: If smoothscroll wasn't the problem, it could be Flash's hardware acceleration. Turn that off in the Flash player's settings and see if it helps. Otherwise, address the problem at its source and stop using Flash; YouTube has had support for HTML5 video for a long time. https://www.youtube.com/html5

You now realize that Firefox is 20x worse than Chrome as far as browsing security. Firefox is worse than Internet Explorer now for security, the least you could do is use Waterfox if you're going to use a shitty browser full of holes and an architecture made for 2006.

And as far as you recommending to disable smooth scrolling, that fucking completely disables the ability to scroll like you're using a computer from 2014. So what you're telling everyone is that you need to make your browser even shittier to cope with a YouTube video. Not only that but you recommend disabling hardware acceleration for Flash (and then go even further and say stop using Flash) in general for a fucking YouTube video. Think about that for a second. It's like you just want to be willfully retarded so you can avoid using Google products. How about just use a product that isn't a piece of shit that requires you to jump through flaming hoops to make it work even half correctly. Everyone swapped to Firefox when it was logically the better product and now there are better options even outside of Chrome and people swap to the logically better products.

B-b-b-but BIG BROTHER ;_; SKYNET!!! Shut the fuck up and learn your options for privacy/security concerns. If you have a 200 gig hard drive of kiddie hentai get a VPN because Firefox isn't gonna save you.

Ignore the people recommending Chrome, they're either paid Google shills or retards.

Go to about:config and try setting general.smoothScroll to false.

And why the fuck would you tell him to do that when you can just do that in Options?

The anal acrobatics required to pull that whopper out of your ass must've been one hell of a feat.
Firefox is nearly as bad as Internet Explorer now
Firefox has by far the richest ecosystem of extensions of any browser. As far as I can tell, IE11 doesn't even have a means of selectively blocking scripts yet.

Windows-only. I'm also unconvinced that it provides any benefit over Firefox Stable. And what do you mean by ``an architecture made for 2006''? Firefox has had multi-process and per-tab sandboxing for five years now, if that's what you're referring to.

The only thing I can stand smooth scroll on is touchscreens. With it off, it scrolls one line per notch in the mouse wheel, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Because it could be the cause of the problems the OP is experiencing.

There is zero benefit to using YouTube's Flash player over the HTML5 player.

Five minutes of searching is what you consider ``flaming hoops''? And the OP having an issue automatically means everyone who tries Firefox runs into problems? You want to jump through some flaming hoops? Try customizing Chrome's interface. Those are some fucking flaming hoops.

Your premise is so wrong there isn't even anything to refute. What alternatives are there that are so good? Opera? Hasn't been good since version 12-ish. w3m? B-BUT MUH COMPUTERS FROM 2014.

Make me, fuckboy.

Because it's 50x easier to just open about:config and type the word I'm looking for instead of blindly thumbing through a bunch of tabs and dialogues in the options menu to find an option that might not even be there.

Five minutes of searching and disabling half of the shit a modern computer should easily be able to run. Great browser, especially considering the scrolling on Firefox is shitty on any computer because they can't figure out a way to fix it. Regardless, you didn't even refute anything in that post. Please go further on and enlighten me of all of the amazing security benefits of Firefox. (http://www.extremetech.com/computin...er-falls-to-four-zero-day-exploits-at-pwn2own) b-but botnet skynet goyim shill privacy kiddie porn ;_;. These are zero-day vulnerabilities. Four of them. Not even IE is that shitty anymore since they too have accepted the need for a native architecture wide sandbox.

Firefox has had multi-process and per-tab sandboxing for five years now, if that's what you're referring to.
Electrolysis isn't out yet.

But what do I know, I'm internet meme goyim shill approved :^). If Xyerith AND Slade prefer something that's when you know to avoid it.
