I have Skyrim for PS3 and most of the freezing issues stopped after the 1.03 patch. I set the game to autosave constantly because apparently one of the main freezing issues is when the game autosaves during loading screens; but if the autosave feature is more constant, the likelyhood of this occuring decreases, as the autosave function happens when you enter the menu, BEFORE say, a fast travel.

So, I need to have the autosave feature on all the time?

Just set the auto-save to 5 minutes.

Care to explain this? I realize you used the comparative form, but still; one wouldn't usually say that a turd is more shiny than another :)

Well, I always thought that combat in Oblivion was pretty brainless.Close to hack and slash. In Skyrim you have more possibilities, shield attacks, dashing, dual weapon wielding, dual cast etc maybe it's not very advanced compared to other games, but it's much better than in oblivion.

Magic is somewhat crippled but it's more realistic and fun at least imo. In Oblivion magic was broken and some spells (paralyze for instance) were almost game breaking.
