Skyrim

The more I play it, the more I think Magic is ridiculous.

1. Magicka regeneration + regeneration boost items means you will never run out of it in battles
2. Impact perk + dual cast spells stagger any enemy in the game
3. Broken enchantments like "all spells cost 25% less magicka to cast"... put this on a few items and you can cast every spell for FREE

Also smithing and enchantments in general are ridiculous. Why Bethesda, why....

I actually hate the enchanting in this game compared to Oblivion. In Oblivion you could create and enchantment from any spell that your character knew and you could put multiple spells and divide up the energy from the soul gem however you wanted. Now you can only have one enchantment per item (unless you select the lvl 100 perk but even that only allows two) and the only way to learn an enchantment is to destroy an enchanted item to gain it's ability since the spells and enchantments are now seperate.

Skyrim is pretty cool. I switch back and forth between that and Soul Calibur IV. Honestly though, where graphics are concerned, I think Soul Calibur is better by far in the way that the characters are more fluid. I really get annoyed when I die in Skyrim because the character looks so stiff. I think Soul Calibur utilizes the "squash and stretch" effect that makes the animation so much more believable. That aside, I think Skyrim is a great game if you like exploring. The environment seems endless and, being as lousy at video games as I am, I like having the option to just steal a horse and wander aimlessly. XD
