Skyrim

Do you find more powerful items when you are at higher levels like in Oblivion?

You do. And unlike oblivion things can only get so tough, so you get to feel like eventually you are increasing in strength. However, a daedric sword scarcely does more daamge than an ebony sword, and an ebony scarcely more than a glass, a glass more than a dwarven and so forth. The steps are not that great. Sheer over powered omnipotence comes with the crafting skills. Which I would not advise leveling until you have at least one proficient combat skill. For me it was 80 points in block. I recently made a new char on the Xbox (I'd been playing on PC and wanted to compare the 360's graphics) and I can report that leveling crafting skills before level 16 or so is unwise.

Then again my guy had rockjoint the entire time and I never knew... who knows how that skewed things.

Bottom line, don't rely on finding better loot, you're better off building it. It's a more reliable procurement method and the items will be stronger anyhow.

Wow. I'm really not sure if Vampirism in this game even *could* have been a bigger let down.

For real. You can only feed on the sleeping? Feeding doesn't kill victims? It doesn't even give you the OPTION to?

The whole reason I rolled this new character was so that I'd be forced to skulk around and murder an NPC every couple days without getting caught.

And now I find out that I can feed on the same person 10 times in a minute, using their neck as a big gulp, and nothing.

Mad disappointed :(

The Elder Scrolls series tries to make being a vampire realistic, but still fail. I would think that they should give you a new speech option if you are a vampire so you can be seductive.

I always liked that fact that being a vampire was treated like a disease (since it pretty much is) rather than them being just "gifted". Hence there are too many cons instead of pros. This brings me to being a werewolf. Being a werewolf pretty much makes the game easier/boring. 100% disease resistance and can turn into a werewolf that has a huge amount of HP and attack. The cons? You're not allowed to be well rested....lol. The game never requires you to need sleep so what's the point? Nerf please.
