Ssf2thdr!

The sprites and the soundtrack are amazing!! Gameplay is well done too (Althogh its a bit hard to play with PS3 pad. :p) I know its not part of Super Turbo; however, I wish they redid the Break the barrel/Break the car minigame. Other than that, definitlly worth the price.

The game is worth the price. Some of the remix track I like and others I hate, so I went back to the original music which makes the game much more enjoyable to play in my opinion. I hate that I have no idea who I am playing until the match actually starts and no idea what their connection is. I don't know how I went from having a score to 0 since I have no idea how the game keeps score and how I keep going down in rank with the more wins I get unless I need to have 0 losses. I don't get how they use Guile's voice from SF2 for his Sonic Boom but use the voice from SSF2 for when he loses. Cammy looks like an alien. T. Hawk has the gayest win pose evar. He sits on the ground and opens his mouth real wide. For what I don't know.

I like playing the game offline than online. It's good to have a SF on the PS3 since mine can't play PS2 games and I am not buying SFA. But SC4 is alot more fun to play so I'll only play SF casually.

I don't quite understand the Cammy - Alien anaolgy. As for Guile, I guess I never noticed the voice thing because I never really cared. It doesn't affect anything. As for T.Hawk, he's always had that win pose.

I'm enjoying this game. I suppose it's due to me never really having my own copy of ST so now I can really bother to learn the game, rather than just play and get my ass handed to me by the people who know the game far more than I do.

So far the game was what I was expecting for $15. It has a few issue and I have some nitpicks about it, but it is an okay stop gap until SF4 comes out in February. I'll play it casually but stick with SC4 mostly.

That was my plan initially. Just play a little bit online. Especially after hearing from alot of people that picking up super turbo helps your game in just about every other 2D fighter because so much of the basics are based on what ST started.

I should probably learn a bit more about the game before jumping online against 17 year vets again though. Especially while still having 98 and GG mechanics and habits in my head.

as for netcode, I played 2 people last night and didn't really have any trouble with it.

Players sure do like to jump around quite a bit

That's me. Result of alot of KoF hyper hopping. lol

how I keep going down in rank with the more wins I get unless I need to have 0 losses.

I'd assume it's not that you're going down, it's that people who used to be below you are passing you up.

Just from playing so much more than you probably. (Dudes probably still on some 12 hour kick with the game)

Most people aren't going to notice or care about the little things, but those are the things I notice. And those are just basically nitpicks that I have about the game. Someone who's playing SF for the first time won't notice or care about those either.

The main problem I am having is with my hits not registering, the connection being lost before a match starts, and when the game jumps when I am playing online. And it would be nice to have some idea of who I was playing against before a match started. I don't even know who they are selecting as a character at the character select screen which is ridiculous.

I haven't been playing the game from that long, just a few hours so that I could talk and find all about it, but I don't get how I went from having a rating to not having a rating an hour later. But whatever. I'm just going to be playing it casually so the nitpicks that I have won't matter when I am fighting someone online. I'll be spending most of my time with SC4 and playing this on and off.
