Teh Gheys Thread

You're what you say you're. I can say I'm spanish eventhough I don't live there.
Here in Sweden we can basically say that we're swedish cus we simply live here or that we "feel" swedish.
I saw a real clever man talk about this before and I couldn't agree more.
It's a very tricky question though and I don't believe there's a rule about what/who you're.

You have really nice hair.
Thanks. Right back at ya.
your eyes are peering into my soul you cutie
You're so sweet. And still damn goodlooking.
Okay, so there's this friend I have who is from England (born & raised), who says he's not British. Isn't British also acceptable to use? England is part of Great Britain, so what's the problem? Like I can call him British, but if I wanted to more specific about where he was actually born, I'd have to use English, right? Am I legitimately incorrect to refer to him as British or is he just being "That Guy"? I can't...
I've seen British and English used interchangeably and causing a bit of a stir, but it's usually when you use English about someone from somewhere else in the Isles. I'm not really a good judge of this, I'm okay with being referred to as both, but if this one Englishman doesn't like to be called British, I'd say just don't. Although admittedly I'm curious as to why exactly it's a problem...

@SophieChan Guuuuuuuuurl, I want your love AND your revenge, and like, all the whirlwind sexy drama.

@UndeadFlamingo Wait, how old are you? Am I allowed to find you cute or are the police going to come a-calling? Those eyes though. Wow.

@SorceressSeren Wow, fuck 'em. At least you're free from him though right? I mean, you're clearly worth an unwritable number more than him so.

@yuna359 British is correct, and I'm clearly the most British here, so, take it as law that he is. Though I wonder why he doesn't like being called it?

Britain: England and Wales.

Great Britain: England, Scotland and Wales. (The former being kingdoms, the latter a principality.).

The United Kingdom is, essentially, G.B + Northern Ireland.

RULE BRITTANIA.
