Tekken Revolution (Free to Play)

Finished off today with 1000 seals. If I keep this pace of 1000 seals every two days, I should be able to unlock Eliza is about 40 days! ... sheesh.

I'm starting to encounter a lot more players with lots of gimmicky play styles. I encountered two King players who love running his low kick string (everyone should know the one) and I encountered an Asuka player who went into parry stance after every unsafe move and basically just sat there playing super defensive (or attempt a throw). I ended up running the same opening attack (df3+4) every time and won the match. The second time around when I encountered the player, I lost. And the two King players I encountered, both of them I lost to.

None of the players I've encountered attempted any juggles or launchers, but many of them did attempt throws. I escaped them as I could, but I had trouble figuring out which one is which (I know the reaching hand is the escape).

I'm still attempting a few juggles and launchers, but I'm mostly just punishing and poking with f2,3 and b1,4. I'm still a bit timid to try using 1+2 or any of the suggested moves. Since I'm ending up on second player a lot of the times, I'm not able to qcf effectively to try anything there, not to mention that I'm not even sure it would work. I'm still at a loss of what works with Lili, and while I've used 1,2 sparingly, I haven't been able to press advantages as much as a should. I barely touch df2 launcher or anything else really.

Another series of games finished today, I'm at 1200 seals now and this series of matches weren't too good. I ended up fighting a lot of level 30+ players! many of which weren't too good but still manage to beat me. Most of the players I fought were Lars, and Kazuya and seemed to spam the same old stuff I've seen. I'm have real difficulty punishing. When I think I have the opportunity to punish certain moves after block I eat an invincible move. I'm not sure what I can use to punish, but I am finding out that invincible moves are very punishable on block for launcher combos. This doesn't seem to deter the player, however.

You're gonna find a lot of players abusing gimmicks and other questionable behavior on TR- it's just its nature.

Some of the frames from TTT2 should still be the same (at least when it comes to punishing). Of course, remember that when you're late on the punish you get hit with a revers- I mean invincible move.

All invincible moves tend to be extremely punishable, yes. You need to launch and use your most damaging combo (or at the least, the one you can pull off most consistently).

Most players will just go right back to using it, so you should just block and let them hang themselves. The danger is in stopping your own pressure and playing passively, waiting for them to be reckless- sometimes they will suddenly grow a brain, and that really throws you for a loop.

Understood. I'm actually at a bit of loss here when it comes to Lili pressure. I only really know of her natural strings f2,3, b1,4, 1,2, 3,1 as main tools of punishment and poking. I'm not exactly sure how to mount an offensive or pressure game with Lili. Her QCF stuff is really hard to do in this game and a lot of her moves don't feel very comfortable to use.

I'm pretty sure this has been already mentioned but I'm noticing a huge difference between the facial models between TTT2 and TR. Here's a link which shows some examples:

I can't tell which game has the better or worse models. IMO, Lili and Alisa both look fine in TTT2. The older models for the rest look like they're in their 40's trying to cosplay as teenagers while the TR models look too... uncanny? It's weird and it makes me appreciate the character models from SCV even more.

Also, all the women have freakishly broad shoulders and pecs.
