Brian, its not about claiming one member is more "knowledge" than others. Or putting "veterans" above "noobies". You and I know that the only person who ever cares about someone's rank is THEMSELVES. This isn't a system about presenting your status OUTWARD to other members. This is a system about presenting your status INWARD to yourself. Its about making people self-concious about their lack of participation in the community in hopes to get them to become more active.
 
I guess I can appreciate the whole self-motivation thing. If it actually works like that, then kudos for it. I always assumed it was designed for message board leetists to give their "listen up noob!" speeches 'e-cred'.

But I can see where you are going, and will remain indifferent to the whole process.

It's better then SRK's system- where one thief with a vendetta can ruin things for a lot of people.

I don't think anyone will use it negatively- unless they're complete idiots.
