Demons souls

Well I would like to play with my 360 bros haha. It's much more entertaining that way. I wouldn't care if all of my friends had 360s, but since they don't...

So my copy finally came in... and I gotta say... this game is fucking easy. I'm playing a Royal, maining Soul Arrow with a Winged Spear for backup. Maybe magic is over-powered? Or maybe because I've been playing Bionic Commando Re-armed hardcore for the past 3 days, everything seems easy in contrast?

From what i've heard, the Royal class is easy mode.

range attacks pretty much make every battle easy. except for a couple major demons, which require melee combat, but even those are easy. I've cleared out 3 nodes completely already, and have been messing around with the pvp and teaming aspect. my primary weapon is the white bow for now. until I can get a +5 short compound bow. Magic in pvp is pretty deadly too. I believe it's called Gods Wrath, a spell that creates a wall of fire. Kills everything in it's path. I've been killed with this in one hit.

Lag in pvp kinda fucks with you though. Can sometimes get random backstab riposts on people.

overall, I think the random inconsistencies such as having all of your stamina be delepted sending you in a stun from blocking just one attack kinda make fighting the NPC's a bit more delicate than just block/attack. I'm still enjoying the game though. The guide is confusing for some things. It lacks in detail. It should explain in a bit further detail how things work. For the first day I looked through the book and kept seeing mention of "Hyper Mode", and looked throughout the entire book on how to activate it, but got no real explaination on how. I have an idea. Get this certain weapon, equip this certain ring, get your health down to 30%, and the ring will process, giving extra attack power. That's the geist of it from what I gather. There's alot more to it such as having other equips and enchats that boost AP as well, but they pretty much leave you on your own to figure that out.
