Dark Souls

Can't seem to summon my friends.... :/

I have yet to test with the one who bought the same region.

But two other had the same region but were still unable to summon each other...
 
Reignhart iirc in Demons Souls you could only summon people ten levels above or below you. perhaps this is the case in Dark Souls and perhaps you are too high/low a level for your friends.
 
I'm raging right now cause my game still hasn't even shipped. Fuck Namco HARD for not making enough copies of collectors edition, and fuck Amazon for not notifying me of any of this crap. My order says "shipping soon" but I have zero confidence they actually will. So I try to cancel my order and repeatedly get an error message. Fantastic. I just want to go pick up a regular edition at gamestop now, but I don't want to do that if i can't even cancel my damn amazon order. -_-
 
The thing I love about this game is it's like "customize your character" then four hours later you're like "perfect, just the way I wanted it! Okay, let's go Dark Souls..." Theeeeeeen ou load the game and the first thing you notice is your character's face now looks like hamburger. It's like: "Welcome to Dark Souls, land of disappointments and broken dreams."

Also I'm looking for a weapon like the Blueblood sword. Anyone know if Astora's Straight Sword can be buffed with magic weapon? And do I ever find a central hub or is the game one long linear slog?
