Guide: Traveling to an Event

Generally it's good to have contingency plans if your accommodation, ride etc opts to crap out on you for whatever reason.

Or your ride could decide to steal the console of the person you where staying with. Road Trips can go either way. If you take a road trip the rule of thumb is this. Only go with people you trust and know. Their actions will reflect heavily upon you. Trust me, you dont want to get into a situation where you are 800 miles from home with no money. Its not fun.....

Generally if your ride threatens to kick out out of the car within 10 miles of home just to get their way, it's time for plan B.

Never Do Greyhound as Plan B unless you are only one state away and it is direct. Otherwise it's going to smell and its going to suck. Think they have wifi on the busses now though...

Greyhound is a hoot. Given some of the drivers I've seen, they'd kick you off for using it. (One dude would even start his bus until one guy turned off his headphones.)
